Hi, I've confirmed this bug. While you can play songs under
.fretsonfire/songs/, you cannot use libraries. I have reported this to
upstream. For now, you can put all your songs directly under
.fretsonfire/songs/ or (as root) under
/usr/share/games/fretsonfire/data/songs/
