I kept adding in every dev I thought might make sense based on 
dependencies, and I now have it installed from source (from their 
site).  It runs almost as good as before.   I can't pin it down, but it 
seems like a couple of weapons might be missing, but I can't pin down 
what they might be (disappointed by the lack of the flame thrower).

So, I've got a work around for the time being.
