Anyway, some things are missing, like lintian overrides. I'm not saying
one cannot install them through dh_install*, but that's usually a pain.

If you're talking about dh_installdocs, yes. Because it is documented in
debhelper(7) and because I tend to read the documentation (especially
about the debhelper compatibility bumps).
