Package: openarena
Version: 0.7.7-1
Severity: normal
Hello all,
I would like OpenArena to be more friendly towards the user and allow this:
- Let [configurable] key combos (i.e. Alt+Tab) leak to the WindowManager,
whether OpenArena is Windowed or FullScreen.
(Or sees only key combos/strokes not useful to the WindowManager.)
- If FullScreen, become a normal or iconified Window if it is no longer
the Application the user wants on top of the others (with the focus).
- Allow a (optional) mode when Windowed where OpenArena would not grab the
Mouse Cursor. And Never Forget to release the Mouse Grab whenever
not the Current Application.
- Possibly (user taste) Pause on Current Application change.
p.s.: I Imagine OpenArena should never be the Master at intercepting key
strokes. I should be a Slave which cannot see Key Combos useful to the
WindowManager.
I hope my report will prove useful.
Sincerely,
Valentin.
