Quilt with svn-buildpackage layout 2

Hi everyone,

I have never used any patch system and I'd like to start using quilt. I 
googled for some help and I found almost everything I need. Almost.

After my check out on the svn server, I only got a debian/ directory, 
and I added the upstream tarball in ../tarballs. The package build fine 
with svn-buildpackage, but the orig.tar.gz is not extracted. And I 
simply don't know how to add a file (quilt add file) without the source 
extracted.

How do you handle quilt with svn-buildpackage ? Or could you send me 
interesting links about quilt ?
