Bug#444237: snowballz: crashes with X error

Followup-For: Bug #444237

 I also have pretty much the same problem than what was previously reported,
and I also use the i810 driver in X, so probably it is the same problem.

 It also crash in my PowerPC, but with a completely different error message,
so I will soon send another email with this system.

 Here follows the error messages I get on my x86 system, which is very
similar but not exactly the same.
