Bug#545021: zaz: background images not shown

Hey,

as Miry asked on IRC, I tried zaz on my iBook G4[1] with an ATI Radeon 
9550. I get no background images either, but the whole game is that slow 
that it is unplayable for me :(
It works just fine on my Thinkpad X300 with Intel X3100 graphics.
Will try on a ATI X1400 when I get my hands on that box and ask radeon  
upstream if he could have a look :)
