Bug#599535: qonk is hungry for power

Package: qonk
Version: 0.3.1-3.1+b1
Severity: normal

Hello,

thank you for maintaning qonk.

When I run qonk on my laptop, even if I keep it stopped on the menu
screen, the fan will start spinning faster, and faster, and faster...

Indeed, just starting qonk and staying on the main menu screen has it
constantly using 100% CPU (75% by qonk and 25% by X).

I hope it's not too hard to have its main loop become event-driven so
that the CPU can sleep when nothing happens, as qonk is a fun game and
it'd be nice to play it, say, while waiting for the gate to open at the
airport, on battery, and still have enough juice left to play it again
later on the plane.

Ciao,

Enrico
