I can confirm that this patch works on against Ubuntu Maverick amd64 just fine (don't have Debian installed at the moment, else I'd test it there too), and I linked to the patch on the Launchpad duplicate of this bug report. Thanks for writing the patch, Drake! -Michael Moorman
