OK I see now you point. Could you regenerate the patches we have in
debian/patches, as they got broken by this commit ?

That's the burden of teamwork :)

Indeed it looks ugly, but I find it to be maintanable.

BTW is there any incentive for mame to try to distribute artwork and
cheat files ? If we they are not under a free license, we can still
download them with a helper ( a la flash plugin )
