I saw your changes in git a few days ago. It's a lot simpler, and
regardless of what the forum says, it seems safe to do right now.

I don't think the tree in master is of any use right now, so I'd vote for
you to merge the mess-only branch into master so we continue from there.

Not a big delay, given it's just a rename. I'll ping an ftp-master to tell
him what the new source package is all about, really.

Way to go!

The NPlayers maintainer sent me an update for 0.144. What do we want to do
with these files, or this one in particular, which has a free licence?

I would include it as a Debian patch, to simplify things. The rest can be
obtained using manu's script.
