Hi,
Could you get a console log from OpenArena, please? Run something like
this in a terminal:

    openarena 2>&1 | tee 676942.log

and start a single-player game, then exit (either through the GUI, or
under such a low framerate it might be quicker to bring down the in-game
console[1], then type "\quit"). Then send 676942.log to this bug.

Please also send the output of "/usr/share/bug/libgl1-mesa-glx/script
3>&1" which I hope might have useful information.

[1] To get the console, try pressing ~, or whatever key on your keyboard
is where ~ would be on a USA keyboard (left of 1, above Tab).
