Bug#732226: brutalchess crashes when hitting Esc ingame

Hello,

No other step needed: I start the game, I'm directly in game, then 
pressing ESC quits the game, I think it's supposed to pop-up a menu ?
After crash, "echo $?" returns 139, to confirm.
