I have revised my patch.

However, a little later I found this Porting to GCC 4.8 page
http://gcc.gnu.org/gcc-4.8/porting_to.html.
It has also -Wunused-local-typedefs listed, but a solution is to remove
the typedefs and adding no- is just a workaround.
