This is a known issue, see #677609. My only suggestion right now is
for you to update supertuxkart to any version >= 0.7.3-2+exp1 (there's
a new upstream version 0.8-1 in experimental right now that works
fine), where we now build stk with the embedded version of irrlicht.

If you want to dig further into this and have a patch for either
supertuxkart/irrlicht in wheezy that fits with the freeze policy,
please let me know. #677609 is tagged with "help", after all. :)
