Well, I am a bit embarrassed: in order to see whether the bug was
reproducible with xserver-xorg-input-joystick installed, I first tried
to reproduce it again *before* installing xserver-xorg-input-joystick.
And I failed!!! :-/
I am sure I experienced the bug once, otherwise I would have *not*
reported it (I would rather avoid wasting Debian package maintainers'
time, what the heck!).
Nonetheless, I seem to be unable to reproduce it again.
I even tried to set the xscreensaver timeout to 1 min!
Nothing! The screensaver activates itself after 1 min of inactivity
within the normal X session, but it seems to refrain from kicking in
when I am playing supertux (even if I only use the joypad for an amount
of time significantly longer than 1 min).
That's very puzzling (and embarrassing!).
So in summary:
* I saw this issue once, but I am now unable to reproduce it
[you *have* to believe me! I am *not* crazy! what are you doing?
leave me alone! leave me alone, I tell you!! ;-) ]
* I am tagging the bug as "unreproducible"
[embarrassing, when this is done by the very submitter of the bug
report!]
* I apologize for consuming your time with a semi-false alarm
* I propose we leave the report open for a reasonable amount of time,
just in case someone else experiences the bug and figures out how to
reproduce it...
Please let me know what you think.
Thanks!
