Please file a bug against game-data-packager, making sure to mention the
version that you are running.
There was a bug in gdp where the game-data-packager arguments are output
twice, but this was fixed by version 30, which is the version
in Debian stable at the moment.
Here's what I see when running gdp from stable:
$ game-data-packager quake
game-data-packager quake arguments:
game-data-packager quake path
-m path path to a mounted Quake CD-ROM
-d path path to an unpacked Quake directory
-s path path to a Quake shareware ZIP
-mp1 path path to an unpacked Scourge of Armagon directory
or a mounted Scourge of Armagon CD
-mp2 path path to an unpacked Dissolution of Eternity directory
or a mounted Dissolution of Eternity CD
path path to any of the above (game-data-packager will guess)
The above is not terribly clear, but basically you need to supply a path
argument to some quake data, somewhere, e.g.
game-data-packager quake ~/my-quake-directory
I hope this helps
