Hello and thanks for the report. The relevant code for grabbing the
mouse is now wrapped in an ifdef-conditional and is only executed when
-DNDEBUG is set. In 1.6.0 this option has to be set explicitly otherwise
it gets overridden by Debian's default compiler flags.

The next upload will make the cursor invisible again as soon as a game
starts and grab the mouse in window mode until the level is completed or
the player returns to the menu.
