Hello,
thanks for reporting that issue. It turns out that is was already
known, but that's another story: better safe than sorry.
it seems also that this bug is not an upstream one but a debian one,
as stated in
https://github.com/minetest/minetest/issues/1147#issuecomment-36329018
I'm completely puzzled and didn't find the time to dig properly into
the issue yet.
