Ok. My testing of the patch was successful as well.

Yes, I am. There is a maintainer upload planned indeed (you can have a
look at the vcs[1]). I added the ‘pending’ tag and made myself the
owner of this bug to make it more clear. Thanks for your patch and the
offer to NMU, but it’ not needed this time.
