Bug#760839: minetest: Icons for many common materials are missing

Package: minetest
Version: 0.4.10+repack-1
Severity: normal

While running the latest version of minetest with a newly created world [1],
I've noticed that many common materials (e.g. cobblestone, tree, wood
planks, desert cobblestone, desert sand, etc.) are lacking an icon
and they show up as a gray square in the inventory (I attach a screenshot:
slots that are full can be recognised by the presence of a number, at least
for stackable items).

.. [1] the same happens when loading an existing game.

This is the stdout/err log: there are a few "Could not load texture:" errors,
but they seem to be less than the number of missing icons.
