Package: oss-compat
Version: 2+deb7u1
Severity: serious
Justification: Policy 6.1
Dear Maintainer,
I just upgraded my machine and that included oss-compat.
During the dpkg configuration "phase" it failed.
Here's the output from the session:

My guess is that the problem is in:
/var/lib/dpkg/info/oss-compat.postinst
On line 36:
[ -f ${curconffile} ] && [ "$(md5sum ${curconffile} | cut -d\ -f1)" = "88222606b0a3ba8b0825c5000c754e6f" ] && cp /lib/oss-compat/linux ${conffile}
${conffile} is not mentioned in any other places in that script, so if it's not being set somewhere else that would be the reason for the cp command to fail.
I have not yet tried to fix the issue but I suspect that a purge/re-install would to the trick..
