An updated mercator is available in pkg-games git (on the "debian-stretch"
branch, since master has unrelated unreleased changes).

I will upload when jcristau's NMU for wfmath has passed through NEW.
I have successfully tested the proposed update with binaries built
by applying his NMU patch to wfmath.
