I think I have already provided my reasoning for reassigning the bug
report in my last e-mail. [1]
The bug reporter filed this issue because his system froze while he was
playing Freeorion and he was not sure whether the game or the video card
driver caused this. Since he could reproduce the same issue even with
other applications like VLC and there are Nouveau related error messages
in his stack traces, I decided to reassign the bug report. I cannot
reproduce the issue with my radeon based video card at all. Since I
neither own the hardware in question for testing nor do I know how to
debug stack traces of the Nouveau driver, I feel that reassigning the
bug to xserver-xorg-video-nouveau, serves the user best.
