I see g-d-p as a build-depedency of the data packages, not a runtime
one; we can't expect it's there,
I share some wad (legally) using a local repository; and there is no
"dev" stuff on the other PC.

Ok, this is nice, there are already many doom- specific bits in GDP
source anyway.
