Package: alien-arena
Version: 7.66+dfsg-2+b2
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
Alien-arena used to have a desktop-file, but it seems to have
disappeared from
recent releases.
Compare the file list for alien-arena 7.53+dfsg-3:
https://packages.debian.org/wheezy/amd64/alien-arena/filelist
and 7.66+dfsg-2:
https://packages.debian.org/sid/amd64/alien-arena/filelist
Without the desktop file, the game doesn't show up in the menus of
various
desktop enviroments, meaning users need to start it from the command
line.
I briefly skimmed the package sources, and the desktop-file seems to
still be
present there, so I am not sure why it doesn't end up as part of the
binary
package.
