Bug#786758: doomsday: segfault on startup

Package: doomsday
Version: 1.14.5-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

When trying to start doomsday, it pops up a dialog which says:
.----====[ Doomsday Engine ]
App init failed:
 "[NotFoundError] (Record::subrecord) Subrecord 'alert' not found"
`----
then crashes with a segmentation fault.

I've tried on three different machines (one armhf), same results, which
means it's not something related to a particular machine's setup.
