another week-end, another GOG.com sales
I guess the engine, being a fork of
eDuke32, is smart enough to find assets
in /usr/share/games/... instead of ~/.erampage .

install Redneck Rampage all native like using erampage.
1. Grab a the data files from GOG.com
http://www.gog.com/game/redneck_rampage_collection
2. Extract them with innoextract
3. Setup the proper build environment
http://wiki.eduke32.com/wiki/Building_EDuke32_on_Linux#Prerequisites_for_the_build
4. Download This package that contains Windows binaries,
as well as some resources needed for the game.
http://erampage.googlecode.com/files/erampage.7z
5. Clone the git
git clone https://code.google.com/p/erampage/
6. Create a folder named ~/.erampage
7. Extract the erampage.7z file into it:
cd ~/.erampage; 7z x erampage.7z
8. Copy TABLES.DAT, LOOKUP.DAT, REDNECK.GRP from Redneck disk into ~/.erampage
9. Rename them to be lowercase
