I think the general issue with Bouncy is that the viewport is limited to
1024x768 pixel. This is

Nowadays we use the DejaVu fonts instead of Bitstream Vera Sans, this
might explain the difference.

Bouncy uses font size 20 and on a default system without scaling it
looks normal.
