this is a rather strange license:
"You may copy, use, modify or do nearly anything except removing this copyright notice.
 And of course you are NOT allowed to pretend you have written it. "

What exactly is "nearly anything"? Please ask upstream to clarify this term 
or better he should relicense to the Expat license.
