Package: steam
Version: 1.0.0.52-2
Severity: normal

Steam is failing to start up on my system, with:
SteamUpdateUI: An X Error occurred
X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
As suggested on https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/3820
I removed the private copy of libgpg-error from the Steam Runtime, and that
appears to address this. It might be useful to extend the libstdc++
workaround to do that too.
I upgraded Mesa to version 12 (from experimental) since last time Steam
worked, although I can't see how that could be relevant, given the
workaround. Alternatively, perhaps the Steam binaries have recently started
using something libgcrypt-related?
