Bug#832339: [steam] can't find xdg-open when needed

Any attempt to open the screenshots folder by clicking "SHOW ON DISK" button in
"Screenshot Manager" gives nothing but the following line in error.log:

sh: 1: STEAM_RUNTIME=0 LD_LIBRARY_PATH="$SYSTEM_LD_LIBRARY_PATH" PATH="$SYSTEM_PATH" /usr/bin/xdg-open: not found

While "xdg-utils" are obviously installed:

alex at bootes:~$ which xdg-open
/usr/bin/xdg-open

So the system paths seem to be messed up. Don't know whether it is an upstream issue or not.
