Hi,

Could you at least apply attached patch to make the 0.9.1 version 
available in Debian testing?

It has been fixed in previously mentioned commit:
https://github.com/supertuxkart/stk-code/commit/58846002ebf1137df372435140c1d91a5d455b25
which could be easily backported to STK 0.9.1.
