Thanks Markus! I just tested 1.10-2 from https://anonscm.debian.org/git/pkg-games/mupen64plus-qt.git/. Everything appears to work fine.

I believe explicitly putting libqt5sql5-sqlite in the depends list is the proper way to resolve that bug since Debian splits that library into it's own package instead of in Qt5 base. Nothing I can find in Qt's documentation says anything about needing to link that library, only linking the SQL library with QT+=sql.
