Bug#890482: mednaffe: Won't launch mednafen

Tried purging both mednaffe and mednafen but I'm still getting the same error.
I didn't have a file created in  $HOME/.config/mednaffe.conf, so can't paste anything here. Also tried creating an empty file there and launching mednaffe afterwards but still no luck.
