That's (now) a virtual package provided by all the larry*-data packages
in an attempt to avoid the .desktop file by making it show up as an
expansion package, but it seems this isn't working as I intended it to.
I'll try something else instead.

That's a separate bug; g-d-p should survive directories that it searches
not existing.
