Hello Beren,

thanks for the update! Apparently upstream is already aware:
https://github.com/kcat/openal-soft/issues/226

there is a patch we can apply right now or if we wait a few days, they
will drop a 1.19.1 release with additional fixes.

We'll get it resolved one way or another.
