This partially fixed the issue for me. The controller works fine in wired
mode to a point. In wireless mode, the USB dongle still did not pair to the
controller(with X+GUIDE as is required to pair) unless the permissions MODE
is modified to 0666 in /lib/udev/rules.d/60-steam-input.rules. I also have
issues performing various firmware modification tasks(rollback/upgrading to
bluetooth firmware) for the controller in wired mode without 0666.
