steam-launcher is a Valve-provided package. It is not compatible with
the steam and steam-devices packages in Debian. Please install
Steam packages from Valve *or* Steam packages from Debian non-free -
mixing the two is not expected to work.

We can add some Conflicts to make this less bad, but this is unlikely to be
solvable from the Debian side: fully solving this situation is likely to need
changes on Valve's side, which they might not be willing to make.
