Package: boswars-data
Version: 2.7
Severity: important
Tags: newcomer patch upstream

Dear Maintainer,

On launching 'antarticum.map' (in list of games), Boswars begins to load,
then on loading /usr/share/games/boswars/maps/antarticum.map/terrain.png
Boswars crashes. This is due to the file terrain.png being an invalid PNG
file. The current version of libpng16-16 treats the problem as a critical
error (earlier versions of libpng16-16 did not exhibit this problem).

To fix the bug, /usr/share/games/boswars/maps/antarticum.map/terrain.png
must be replaced with a valid PNG file. The upstream version of Boswars also
has this bug, but upstream appears to be abandoned.

I have a valid version of this 'terrain.png' file which is a drop-in
replacement. Please advise how to send the fix to you.

Steve
