Bug#967118: 0ad: Unversioned Python removal in sid/bullseye

Hello,

I am a developer of 0ad and I am in charge of upgrading the SpiderMonkey
library that we embed, which still depends on Python 2.

I confirm what smcv said: the presence of a working `python2.7`
executable should be enough to build spidermonkey, and I do not think
that third-party modules are necessary.

We are determined to remove our python2 dependency in our upcoming
stable release, which is under active development. However, we will
definitely not be able to get it out in time for the release of Debian
bullseye. We hope that our latest stable version can be kept in
bullseye, with our future release ready for bookworm.

Please let me know if I should post additional information to bug #936101.

Best regards,
Nicolas
