Bug#970942: nikwi FTCBFS: builds for the build architecture

nikwi fails to cross build from source, because it does not pass cross
tools to make. The easiest way of doing so - using dh_auto_build - does
not suffice though as it doesn't pass LD. The LD variable does not have
a consistent meaning and here it should contain a C++ compiler. It needs
to be passed explicitly. Once doing so, nikwi cross builds successfully.
Please consider applying the attached patch.
