Bug#985184: REminiscence no longer licensed under the GNU GPL?

Hi,

(feel free to remove 985184 at bugs.debian.org from Cc if you don't want
your reply to be archived publicly)

I contacted you about this on 1 January 2018 but perhaps that mail got
lost.

While preparing an update of the Debian package of REminiscence,
I noticed that all the license grants are gone from the sources. This
makes it impossible for anybody but the original author to distribute
REminiscence.

Was this an intentional change?

Here's the part that is present in version 0.2.1 and gone in 0.3.5+:

If you could release REminiscence with the GPL¹ licensing restored,
I'd be happy to update the Debian package to the latest version. It
has some features like support for SDL2 that would be really nice to
have.

If the change was intentional, I guess our only option is to remove
REminiscence from Debian. Sad as that would be, having a severely
outdated package is of no service to our users.

Best regards,
    Damyan

¹ any other free software license like BSD or Artistic would do too
