thanks for reporting!

It is actually a dilemma:
- "-mpc64" is indeed failing the test suite,
- SSE is above the Debian i386 arch baseline. [1]

I think it is same to assume that target (i386) machines can be
expected to support SSE; I don't think that making minetest
compatible with so old machines is not really sensible or worth the effort.

So I'm gonna make the installation on machines fail for machines not supporting sse,
using the sse2-support package [2].
