retitle 960860 New stable upstream release 2.2.x thanks One more important thing that the newer versions bring is native 64-bit support (amd64). Currently version 1.6.0 is stuck on i386 only... Please consider packaging it. Can still probably make it in for Trixie! (and maybe backport to bookworm, if it's not too much to ask!)
