Bug#1076622: bzflag dies when run without gdb

Package: bzflag-client
Version: 2.4.26-1

If I run bzflag it dies as soon as I try to join a game.

% dpkg -l bzflag
Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold
| Status=Not/Inst/Conf-files/Unpacked/halF-conf/Half-inst/trig-aWait/Trig-pend
|/ Err?=(none)/Reinst-required (Status,Err: uppercase=bad)
||/ Name           Version      Architecture Description
+++-==============-============-============-=================================
ii bzflag 2.4.26-1 all 3D first person tank battle game

% /usr/games/bzflag
Segmentation fault

Removing .bzf did not help. I have tried to rebuild bzflag using
the current packages in Sid, but this did not help, either.

If I run /usr/games/bzflag within gdb or with strace it doesn't die.

Regards

Harri
