xmpuzzles and xabacus do not declare being incompatible but still they
both install /usr/games/play.sh and therefore fail to install.

    mmdebstrap --verbose --variant=apt '' /dev/null 'deb http://deb.debian.org/debian trixie main'  --include=xpuzzles,xmabacus

This readily leads to an unpack error.

    Preparing to unpack .../71-xpuzzles_8.8.7+ds-1_amd64.deb ...
    Unpacking xpuzzles (8.8.7+ds-1) ...

The filename /usr/games/play.sh seems very generic and likely should be
installed by neither package. I recommend that you consult with
debian-devel at lists.debian.org about the use of this filename in binary
packages.
