Hi Jonathan,

I tried to use the new API, it's wasn't very difficult.
It builds, I can still start a game in kodi, but I'm not a 
retroachievements user; so I can't say with 100% confidence that I 
didn't make an (additional) mistake...

You can find my attempt at fixing my mess in the "rcheevos" branch of 
the kodi-game-libretro repo on salsa.

If you are not confident with this, option B would be to copy ~185 lines 
of code from an older version of rcheevos.
