There is no need to be sorry at all. Your answer is extremely helpful
but unfortunately a rare event in my ITS experience. In short: Thanks a
lot.

Done. Just uploaded.

As per Debian Games policy the mailing list should serve as Maintainer
so I have put your name as Uploader.

Well, we are all volunteers. Those who were interested could have
sent a patch ages ago. :-) Hope the migration to Salsa will simplify
this by MRs in future.

You are perfectly welcome. I feel supported by your answer in my
attempt to migrate as much as possible packages to Salsa. When checking
my list of packages not on Salsa there are three further ones with your
name as Maintainer. Given what you wrote above I'd like to ask about
these rather informally than using the ITS overhead:

acm - could also team maintained by Debian Games team

fvwm1 - Debian Commons team in Debian team space on Salsa
(interesting that we even have fvwm version 1 ;-) )

ripmime - Debian Commons team in Debian team space on Salsa

If you confirm this is in your interest I'd happily migrate these
packages and upload to say delayed=10 to give you sufficient time
to have another look without the real need to respond if you have
better things to do.

What do you think?

Thanks again
    Andreas.
