Dear maintainer,
Thank you for your reply.

I followed your suggestion and enabled the plugins in the Tool->Plugin Manager
menu and it solved my problem.
IMHO, I believe that the "Plugin Manager" and the "Plugins Preference" entries
could be next to each other in the menu or merged together in order to make the
interface a little bit more intuitive for the user.
Maybe someone could change this bug status to "wish list" ?
